Did you know that you can divide, multiply and subtract in InDesign? I had a box I wanted divided in two. Make a box, copy, paste in place. In the Width field in the Control panel, type /2 next to the existing size. Press Tab or Return (PC: Enter) and InDesign will do the math and divide your box perfectly. You can also use different operations, such as subtraction (–), multiplication (*), and division (/).
