I was in Toronto, Canada for Thanksgiving and an art gallery caught my eye. I have always been into metal sculptures and texture. I thought this would make a great opportunity to show off my photoshop/Lomography skills. I have fallen in love with the “lomo effect”. Lomography is a type of photography created by the Lomographic Society and was founded in 1992 in Austria. The founders started experimenting with Lomo LC-A, a cheap Russian analog camera. Lomographers aim for high contrast photos with vignettes and soft focus. There are several lomo cameras out there to try: the LC-A, Holga, Fisheye, Colorsplash and Supersampler, are just a few. Their motto is, “Don’t Think, Just Shoot.” I edited this photo in CS6 and used the lomo effect to create this photo. http://www.lomography.com/
